Born on October 18, 1984 American Alpine Skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired, won the title of four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Her second most overall score of all skiers, female and male. She's one of the top skiers in the world and also is the most popular skier in America. Caroline Vonn is a World Cup alpine ski racer in the US. Her name is Lindsey Vonn. She has won in the total World Cup competition four times. She is an athlete with a lot of fame in American the history of sports. She is one of only six female athletes who have taken home trophies the five World Cup competitions in alpine. All told, she has won the prestigious 82 World Cup championships. World-class athlete and one of America's most popular ski racers has taken a decision to step down following the World Championships that take place in Sweden. Four-time World Cup winner decided to leave the sport after battling several ailments. Social media was her way to declare her decision to retire. Next week I'll compete in my last races of my professional career at the Downhill as well as the SG World Championships in Re Sweden.
