Lis Wehl, who was born September 19, 1961, in the US, is an author and former legal expert for Fox News.
She has been an adjunct law professor in New York Law School and was previously an Associate Professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries on the National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. Wiehl is a native of Yakima, Washington, and she graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma from Barnard College in 1983, she earned a master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 as well as the Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She also worked as an NPR legal reporter. She was the "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. She worked as an associate professor of law with tenure in the University of Washington School of Law Seattle between 1995 and 2001. Wiehl was an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001-2017.
